As a new initiative, from November 2008, the Conservation Council of SA will be running a bi-monthly fish forum to enable public discussion of fisheries related conservation issues with scientists, government managers and other stakeholders.

The first of these, held on 12 November 2008, was about the Western Blue Groper

The second forum, on 4 February 2009, was about the Australian Sea Lion

The third forum, to be held in the Riverland on Wednesday, 6th May 2009, is about the Murray Cod (see flyer).
